That slope looks pretty slippery.

Feeding fish to Cid to keep him alive in the World of Ruin was absolutely nuts when I was 14.
Do you think gambling addiction is real? Just curious. I’m on the fence about gaming “addiction”. I wouldn’t say I’m classically addicted... while I do play a lot (it’s my main hobby), it doesn’t get in the way of other responsibilities.
I had to fight my wife for most of 2018 to let my 8 (now 9) year old play—she’s way more over-protective than I am. We started with Playgrounds a month or two after it was released. You probably know how it goes with kids though, once the older one does it, the flood gates sort of open for the younger one.
I’m 38, play a ton of Fortnite, and listen Marshmello somewhat regularly. I “attended” the “concert” with my 6 and 9 year old and legit got chills from it.

I disagree with you. Also...
That’s what happens when you only spend 12% of your revenue on support.
I played the demo first and bought the game immediately afterwards and played through the first section (what the demo covered) again.
CrossCode might be my GOTY. I’ve still got a few chapters left though...
Commenting on the topic at hand now... and wow... I really am an introvert. I’ve been playing the game for 15 months and have on multiple occasions stopped playing with people who play the game how she’s describing.
Repetitive? Hmm. The beauty of Battle Royale (and almost any purely multi-player driven game) is that it’s anything but repetitive. Sure, you jump out of a bus and try to not die ad nauseam, but every encounter is purely unique even if you land at the same spot every game.
Certainly the only Best/Worst Games of 2018 list to mention “Winamp”.
I don’t think you’re describing the same groups of people even though you called both of them “Gamers”.
What gave you that impression? You said Valve doesn’t make games. I showed you proof that they do. I didn’t speak to the quality nor impact the of the games.
What about Artifact and In the Valley of Gods though?
It was for a time I guess, until it wasn’t. I admittedly haven’t looked into the origins of the word since I was a wee lad. I blame Van Halen.
I like your rant in theory, but to use your words... you should try to be smarter. The term does not mean what you think it means.
Hardee’s is legendary for breakfast.
