There are a lot of people getting caught up over the fact that some RPG elements have been removed or streamlined. I think it's a mistake to get too caught up in this.

@plasticmouse: We don't get to complain about the lack of "immersion" in ME2 compared to ME1. The fact that things like the Mako, elevators, and scanners have been stripped out of this game are our own damn fault because we complained and bitched about them mercilessly.
