I know! Especially a team like the Steelers. It made me feel weird.

Unfortunately, looks like the blog is going bye-bye - I wish my favorite teams beat reporters were this awesome.

Even though they’re adding more syllables, it is just plain laziness. The devil is in the details!

As a Raider fan, I think you saw this with Curtis Lofton - FA pickup in 2015, presumed MLB starter, but this year they released him and have a 2nd year and an UDFA rookie looking to fill his shoes.

Completely unrelated note: is any GM less known than Kevin Colbert? And are the quietest GMs always on the better teams?

I like being cynical as much as the next guy, but you really think they grabbed him just to sell jerseys?

Penis obsession.

Man, this guy. I don’t even have anything more to add than that.

Whoa! Big Bill! Thanks for the lengthy detailed response - you totally could have ignored me. I have never paid PFF or FO much mind, so thanks for the curiosity-filler. I’ll try to avoid being a cat. Cheers!

Thanks for the clarification on that.

True that; going back, I realise my post had more bite than I intended. I see what you’re saying!

Player 1 Rookie Year: 56.7% completion rate, 26 TDs, 28 INTs, 233 y/game, 71.2 Rating.

I think if that worked (or maybe I should say, I think if some QBs starting the first year didn’t show as much promise and productivity as they do) more teams would just sit them without thinking twice about it. Maybe the better question is, do the few that are “successful” starting right away ruin it for the rest?

Honestly curious: how does PFF not have a lot of cred? I only ask because I hear it referenced fairly often.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve found it pretty cool how you all seem so patient answering the same questions over and over (DeadCast, Gawker, etc.) - Marchman especially. But how annoying is it really?

Cheers!

I get how the grays are a good thing to filter out the trash, but it is kind of depressing being gray. I suppose ya’ll don’t even read the grays, eh?

gouda so goud.

yay for jicama! no one in MT knows what it is..

That escalated quickly.
