I want to say that Kassandra calling desperately for her son really tugged at the old heartstrings. I may not have been fully on board with Kassandra’s sudden desire for a “simple life” and an out of nowhere desire to continue the bloodline, but her VA really sold that parental attachment.  Kudos to her.

Based purely on their base forms, Scorbunny is my current pick for Sword&Shield.

Dating back to Red/Blue, I’ve always selected the water starter.  The only exceptions were Yellow, where you started with Pikachu and Sun/Moon because I had to have an Owl Ranger.  With Sword/Shield, I’ll be back to my normal pattern of water starters.  Looking forward to getting to know Sobble.

I thought of that too but this was my logic on each.

I most certainly did not complain when Sun/Moon changed things up. I thought it was a step in the right direction.
