Agreed... and I don't know why. The bizarre, almost impressionist humanoid characters? Everyone looked like puppets, which was extra creepy. I haven't played anything since that has mixed a sort of lovecraftian existential horror with scifi as well. High hopes for that new game by the Amnesia guys.
