Pointing out bias makes one a snowflake?  We need many more snowflakes, then.

I thought this was an enthusiast website?

Calling the Challenger “wasteful”, while obvious, seems more like what you’d expect coming from a green/electric car website, particularly given that it’s no more “wasteful” than most performance cars. Do you have a fast food blog on the side where you mention in every post

It’s hard to get excited for a silent R8 when it’s replacing one of the most interesting n/a V10 engines still in production. Especially when it’ll probably be slower and have less range than a Tesla that seats 5 comfortably...

Now if only they could bring back a GP to the greater LA area... The weather and car culture demand it!

Boomer jokes: almost as funny as millennial jokes...

Or if they were really serious they could put out a RWD competitor to the Stinger and Charger. They already have us prepped for a Toyota 5 Series, after all.

If only they’d make a 3-Series competitor for similar money that was a few hundred pounds lighter with a lower center of gravity...

USA Today told me it was because millennials are all about authenticity.

Climate guilt.  It’s like the new Catholic guilt, except without the promise of Eternal Salvation.

The Viper was $100,000+.

Okay. Pretend I mentioned the C63 Coupe and the new M8. Or the E Coupe. Or the last few generations of the M6.  Or the CLK 63 Black.  The point still stands that those cars have similar dimensions, 2+2 formats, but are much less likely to be criticized for their size and weight by the British motoring press.

Sometimes I think this is tied to the car’s accessibility. Much of what you wrote is true of an Aventador, but because Challenger Redeyes are more affordable and more likely to be driven daily, what passes for “exotic” on a Lambo is judged differently with a Dodge. It’s like how British journalists always call the

You mean making the same cars (e.g. 370Z, GT-R) for 10+ years with fewer styling/performance updates than even the Charger or Challenger isn’t a recipe for success? Shocker!

To be the completely forgotten and irrelevant contrast to the C8 unveiling.

Gervais doesn’t conform to the tenets of PC culture, which chafes the author’s politics. It’s like the Millennial version of your grandpa who won’t watch anything that has Barbra Streisand or Alec Baldwin in it.

Or it’s like how the car will be built from the spare parts of something else, in this case a Geely...

Ain’t nothin’ like the real thing.

The TT is a hatchback...but then I’d say on the current market you’re much better off in a Supra. Better performance and dynamics, two more cylinders, and better looks (in my opinion) for the same price.

The LFA is the obvious comparison here, but the price made it unobtanium for most. This on the other hand...

True, but for the TT-S in particular, you could do better by buying a Golf R with the same engine, same hp rating, same chassis, more room, similar build quality, and similar weight, all for less money.
