@anteup lost her pizazz: That's exactly what I was thinking! In fact, for a minute I thought the skunk was named Clover.

Whoops, forgot about the social and posted in groupthink too.

New cat is home! He really appreciates the classic mid-century design of my kitchen table and it's butt feel. After some impressively neat use of the litter box, some light grooming, and a nap—he is now purring over some natural cat food.

@ewillse: Black and white. I like the place name idea!

@Joie de Vivre: That is an amazing cat name. Will you name my cat who is coming to live with me today?

@ewillse: I will when his behind gets here.

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new cat. I have never had my own cat before and I am really excited. We met yesterday and I think we are going to be best pals! Whoever gave this fellow up is really missing out.

@deeemer: I know—I don't blame Betty for wanting to go to her!

I decided to quit drinking 2 weeks before my big birthday party. Any tips on celebrating while sober? (There will be alcohol at my party, but I am looking forward to other things about it for sure...)

After seeing her Behind The Music I fully support this venture. In fact I wish she had a daytime talk show where she mostly talks about herself—like Tyra but interesting.

I am not against veiling and find partial veils to be both aesthetically and culturally beautiful. It is troubling that some women are forced to veil themselves—but isn't banning veils a little bit like banning belts to prevent child abuse?

@LaComtesse: Oh, I miss Astoria! I lived there for years and I really think it's one of the most accepting places because of its awesome diversity. I have a friend who is a pretty wild looking transvestite who says that no one bats an eyelash at him in Astoria.

Based on the look on her face, not removing the monkeys was a smart move...

@Armer Farmer: Yum, go on with your night cheese girl!

Y'all, sometimes I have sex with dudes and they are really surprised when I want to be their girlfriend. Sometimes I don't want to be their girlfriend and that is cool. Sometimes they aren't surprised and that is super cool. But that first one is really a killer.

@AndPreciousLittleofThat: Yes, I believe it was just the New York store that closed. Just walking around that place was a soothingly refined experience.

@UrbanAchiever: Yeah, I was like "Well, I guess now I will really never buy anything there..."

@NellMood: Yes, it was the day spa of "retail therapy."

@lulusaysfyou: As a person with eyes it is grossing me out.
