Yes. There is very much a difference between your emotions getting the better of you when you see something that is just so exciting and the result of so much anticipation that you almost can’t help but react and continuously cheering and hollering as an entire scene plays out.

I can see the value in communal experiences and getting that rush from the feeling of shared exhilaration. However, it makes a lot more sense to me in the venue of sporting events.
