This was the “might be time to drop Mayfield from my fantasy team” game.

You forgot to capitalize “brow—oh.

It’s always something.

“She’s consistently the lowest in head-to-head polls vs. Trump among the top 5/6 candidates.”

“This is a big deal that Trump can tout as a legislative achievement AFTER he blew up the first deal by being a stupid maniac.”

He can say whatever he wants (and usually does). That doesn’t mean it will have any credence whatsoever. And that’s if it even gets any kind of play while the shit tornado of impeachment and now Turkey and whatever new bumblefuck he walks himself into in the next several weeks is still going on.

“And before you start with me, I used to really like Warren. I’ve since grown colder to her, starting with that whole “I won’t totally swear off corporate money” back from the start of her run.”

It really is undeniable. When every single woman that gets to this particular point suddenly has a problem, it stands to reason that it’s not the individual characteristics of the given woman in question.

I mean... we can reasonably disagree on the benefits/pitfalls of a NAFTA replacement, from a policy standpoint. But that’s not really the argument being made here.

“Worst case the messaging from the frontend to the OMS differs for ADA orders vs standard orders (which it absolutely shouldn’t)”

To me, A & B, absent any other warning signs, wouldn’t be a big deal. Like you said, a new restaurant failing to gauge just how busy they are going to be AND being reluctant to overbuy at the risk of tossing food is not the end of the world. And service jobs notoriously have a lot of turnover.

“If they make good food, but everything else about the restaurant experience is horrible, do you really want to nurture that?”

“Domino’s is arguing that because, say, a 19th century city hall doesn’t have an elevator, Domino’s, a private company, shouldn’t have to make some adjustments to their website.”

They probably don’t even need to do much (or any) OMS integration. In my experience, most ADA compliance features are strictly frontend. The OMS only cares about order information (and customer information to the extent that it matters on the order).

I’m not sure you could reasonably include support, hosting and maintenance in the cost of bringing themselves into compliance with ADA.

“The human interface layer is typically a function of the OS so the suit should be against Microsoft, Apple, and Google for failing to provide the necessary APIs.”

I just wrote a comment about this upthread before I saw yours. I’m a software/website project manager and I’ve worked on projects involving ADA compliance before. You don’t even need to completely redesign the website--there are likely just a series of changes that could be made to the existing site to make sure than

This is a crazy—like batshit, looney tunes bonkers crazy—thing for Domino’s to be pursuing.

How has the FBI not been called in to investigate this?

The only possible silver lining here—and we’re talking a cheap veneer of faux silver paint, not real silver—is that doing shit like this might actually convince some of his ostensible allies to abandon him with regards to impeachment and removal from office.
