Dude is totally fine for in-person interactions.

The whole “mistake of fact” is right up there with the old “I feared for my life” canard in terms of extreme miscarriages of justice that are codified within our “justice” system.

In fairness to meat, it’s not intrinsically damaging to the environment. What’s damaging to the environment (and the animals, as it happens) is the commoditized factory farm method of producing meat. And as much as I’d like to believe that people cutting back/eliminating meat from their diets would end that practice,

“The pass rush projected to be the team’s only effective unit”

On the one hand, it’s correct that increased diversity (cultural, ideological) is going to make compromise harder, because you have more points of view that have to be reconciled into a workable solution. This is a fair statement.

You could say his suspension knocked the head off the Raiders’ defense.

Well, holy shit. Another one.

Who, oh who will speak for the Vontaze Burficts of the world!?!

Too easy.

“And before anyone tries to crucify me, I’m not defending any of the terrible shit he’s done in the past. I’m talking about this play only.”

“You know what we used to do in the old days when we were smart? Right? With spies and treason, right? We used to handle them a little differently than we do now.”

You guys, he’s not threatening civil war. He’s just fulfilling another campaign promise.

Alternative explanation—and bear with me here—he’s completely full of shit.

Do we want to be governed by an unelected bureaucracy or by a democratically elected president?”

The optics of a white Southern preacher practically salivating at the chance to try and get a civil war rematch aside, there’s a part of me that welcomes the chance to remind Jethro, Cletus and Billy Bob of the beatdown their ancestors got last time around.

Yeah, but see, you can’t do this:

“By anyone’s conception of ‘being down,’ Johnson was down either for stalled forward progress or for touching a knee.”

The broadcast crew’s own rules expert came on and took about 5 seconds to point out why he actually thought it would be overturned.

That play had nothing to do with what counts as a “catch”.

The part that gets me is the fact that he has classic at #3. It’s almost like it was placed there for the appearance of credibility.
