Yeah, but have you considered that he sounded nice, and he publicly thanked a war widow? Important stuff! I think we need to start giving him some credit.
“You like your culture when it suits you lmaooo.”
Someone on the later edition of Hardball said “I’ll tell you what I tell my students. Don’t listen to the speech. Print it out and read it. Then you’ll put it in the proper context”.
I am so upset with media outlets right now. They are just completely ignoring everything that actually matters to focus on aesthetics. They are like those idiots on House Hunters who complain about paint colors but don’t seem to mind the 30-year-old roof and cracked foundation.
This is the messed up thing about politics, most people (the media included) are more concerned about the emotions and actions in a speech as opposed to what the actual content is. Most people vote with their emotions and with the “party” they side with as opposed to what policy is actually better for them.
I said this on another thread, but I’ll repeat it here:
My thing is, she’s practically in a pinup pose, with her knees apart like that. And all the people making the excuse, “She was taking a photo.” I’ve never known an instance when kneeling on a couch in the middle of a room made for a better photo of a large group than standing at the other end of the room.
Meanwhile, Olympic-level trolling inside:
Stop with the lies! This is the un-photoshopped picture
And in the end, these people concern is that a guy shows his penis to a teen buy when a girl or a woman claims to be raped these same people do not believe them, this double standard makes me so angry.
That song remains my obsession (ba-dum-tiss).
When I was in elementary school I was a loyal viewer of the show Fashion Television. And I remember I had this visceral hatred of Lagerfeld, who I thought was a pretentious twat. Which, with hindsight, is sort of an hilarious thing for a 9 year old to even have an opinion about.
Does my memory serve me that his…
Yes. I was trying to figure out how to talk to my dad about LGBT rights and the only compelling thing I could think of was saying hey dad I’m gay. Now what? Is it ok for me to be fired for that reason alone? His position is that it’s his duty to tell people who aren’t being godly that it’s not ok and he and Jesus…
The only moral abortion is my abortion. The only time I do not insult Obamacare is when my insurance is cut. The only time I promote gay rights is when my child comes out to me.
I will never not be flabbergasted by this story. Like... what? So many questions and statements that I need to say whenever I read that story.
Too be fair, the 7 year old is not insane.
The statement + the cute squeaky voice + the slight bedhead = I’m dying in the best way possible.
“Donald Trump makes Mexicans not important to people who are in Arkansas who like Mexicans, like me and my grandma and all my family,” Toby Smith, age 7, told Cotton to loud cheers from the packed auditorium. “And he’s deleting all the parks and PBS kids just to make a wall. He shouldn’t do that. He shouldn’t.”
