Someone once noted that if you could sleep with every godlike celebrity hero you could, why the fuck wouldn't you?

I wanted her to be. I know it would be a bad relationship, because Joy can be coldblooded and grasping, but I think she's a better partner for Danny. And her relationship with Danny never made her seem lesser; which is not something I can say about Colleen.

I presume the plane trips to China and back took extra time.

Sounds like the United Nations Security Council decision to go to war. The one time the USSR refused to show up, the council voted to intervene in Korea. USSR never missed a meeting after that.

Ba-dum-cha!

Danny and Ward were flaking off as far as the board was concerned. Danny actually flew to China. Not someone to depend on for fighting boardroom battles.

The Meachums did mention "using Danny" to fight the board but Danny was so useless to them, he was flying off to China for heavens sake.

I thought I heard somewhere that there was a reason the company was still 'Rand'. Like there was a tax dodge in avoiding declaring Danny's dad dead as long as possible, so that the Meachums held the shares in trust or something.

Zombie regeneration.

Thats what I was wondering.

You talking about Heroes for Hire? He just did that to hang with buddies.

While the metaphor was clear for the rest of the Meachums, if making Danny more like Donald Trump was purposeful? Someone deserves all the bad criticism they got.

Yes. While I got a little irritated at Ward's "ohno I can't inform the police about this dead body because it will make Rand look bad", most of the company didn't deserve to suffer for magic ninjas taking them over. We don't know enough to know if the Rand factory is responsible for the cancer rise. Since the

When was that?

Mariah's storyline in the back half could have been sped up, certainly.

Then another dropoff in the finale.

Her advice was self-serving. She could have said Bakuto was a bad guy, enabling Danny to fight then heal Colleen. Instead, she tries to prevent Danny from gaining healing skills and keeps Bakuto's secret.

I wish they inserted a quick explanation that she used to have her own organization and only just joined the Hand. It would fix my continuity irritation.
