Over and over, we see in Marvel executive decisions that acting is primary. They legitimately thought the corporate drama required a decent actor.
Have you watched Gotham lately?

There's lots of real world white kung fu masters. People all over the world practice martial arts.
Hermm. She somehow convinced people to blind themselves to serve her drug dealing. I think she's like Kingpin, in that she doesn't move directly against powerful types like Daredevil or Iron Fist because she prefers to keep them around as pawns.
Didn't have to kill the others because he won. Now, Gao's action was..odd. I'll have to rewatch it. What is the point in caring if Scythe dies or not? She can rez him. What is the point in caring if Danny actually wins the tournament if she's breaking the rules by threatening the kill the girl? If it doesn't…
I agree, but she was too normal. Every time the camera switched back to normal view after Danny's vision blurred it pulled me out of immersion.
We know Danny is a dumb celibate virgin with little experience with women. Why is it bad for a villain to take advantage of that? All the Hand were fucking with his mind and testing his resolve, questioning his motives.
Yes, all the other ones had lots of atmosphere. You're barely aware of New York here.
A few people do yell at him for this later, tho.
I don't understand why Netflix okayed a second season before the show even dropped though. All the others, they considered before deciding on it. And Loeb openly said he wants to move to Heroes for Hire instead of individual shows.
I'm guessing these to-the-death tournaments in K'un L'un didn't normally involve women rubbing their boobies on him.
Good point. He's just repeating the stuff his father figures said that felt comforting.
There literally used to be a mystic villain organization called the Six Fingered Hand in Marvel. They were one of the Defenders big villains though I don't think they were ever well utilized. I guess it makes sense to fuse them with the demon worshipping ninja Hand.
Its partly the pageantry. I found the cage matches to be boring. I like the cheese.
Daredevil is more like a brawler—heavy on exertion—there is no move that he won't do with a flip first
The CW did this too. Fricking SHADE showed up, only to be totally stupid.
Well, he has been training. And he's technically a regenerating zombie. But the finale was mostly bad.
Except killing Scythe would have been killing Hand. Which is what he's programmed to do.
