Article fails to realize that many applications are designed to only work in Internet Explorer.

That last blockquote has my head spinning! I'm surprised people care that much about how books are "organized". Who cares? A book is a book is a book...the organization is mostly so you can find the shit you want in a store, not so that authors have to stick to this or that template when they write.

I do it all the time to almost everything. Force of habit. It rarely works, but sometimes you get lucky :/

Thanks!

Kind of makes you wonder how many people are going to be pist the first time iCloud goes down...

At least give us an instructables link :)

#COTD best comment I've seen in quite some time. Kudos sir.

I think the video is nice...I think the body of the article is in poor taste :/

That's a netbook. Plus they aren't even suctioned well...look, it's hanging off the left edge of the device, lol....then, everyone knows you can't get proper suction across a seam. Hello display + bezel! I bet he got angry, smashed them in to place (breaking the cone), then they still wouldn't stick so he had to

People will use it while driving.

I would imagine if you had a bluetooth headset you could use either Voice Control or Siri in a fairly crowded area without any issues at all. The software is obviously targeted at phone interactions while in the car though.

I didn't say there was more storage at the same price point. I said there was more storage. There's a difference.

Now playing

There was a guy on this year's America's Got Talent called "The Kinetic King" and all he did was make a whole bunch of chain reaction gadgets like this, then blow them up on the stage and ask for votes.

I personally think Siri is going to be much larger than Gizmodo is giving it credit for. Yes, it didn't really take off that well as an App, but as an OS integrated (and now Apple-backed) project, you know it's going to be good, it's going to work, and it's going to be used.

Apple didn't "pick" anything. They purchased the Siri software around April of 2010, when it was an iphone/android app that does the exact same thing it did in Apple's demo. I assume a requirement of the purchase would be that the name would be kept intact for future implementations.

Welcome to iMessage!

WHERE CAN I GET THAT USB CABLE!!?!?

exactly what I was thinking, lol.

If you're going to bluff your way into a robbery, don't fall for another person's bluff while in your bluff.

Well, about them being "greedy" with the OS....I assume it's probably "developed with an iDevice in mind". (read: easier to code and smaller because we already know exactly what the hardware can and can't do, but comes with the concession that it will never work completely on a third party device)
