Wow! I can't believe you actually got an email from your mom asking about it on the day of the announcement! For me, that's like...snapping a photo of the loch ness monster, then turning around and seeing a sasquatch taking a picture of me. It just....doesn't happen! I try to force tech on to my parents as best I

I agree that would *generally* be a mistake, but I would assume in this situation Apple typically expects a maximum shelf-life of their mobile hardware to be less than 3 years. Neither twitter nor facebook will disappear in such a short amount of time, so the integration makes perfect sense.

sounds like somebody's angry :(

iOS5 "might" come out same day, but new hardware would definitely be 1 week later. Apple would never release major consumer hardware without a pre-order/reservation period. They <3 all of the news coverage of people standing in line.

Wow, this is awesome! Good for them! Screw those guys, I'm glad they got arrested. You wouldn't think it would be that bad, but just the flashes in that video alone make it pretty damn clear that it can be extremely dangerous for the pilot.

I thought I'd seen a lot in my 24 years old this planet. Some shocking things.

Hey man, it's a tough job getting THAT amp'd over a Microsoft initiative :)

You sir, have far too much time on your hands...but this is valuable information!

more like this methinks....

Folsom State: Come for the granola, Stay for the BINGO nights!

Are you sure about that? The memo seemed like they were exiting both...

Just a quick shout-out to Christopher Madden. That article header is some dang good work!

The Mark of The Kitty!

Replying to everyone who replied to me. You are all morons. The device itself does absolutely nothing internet related.

I refuse to feed the troll in this situation. It's completely asinine to assume that 2 computers on 1 desk connected to each other by 1 cable would be susceptible to a man in the middle attack.

I didn't say it wasn't useful...I said it was a waste. There's a difference.

Oh look, a $100 device that does the same exact thing as a $0.35 crossover cable! AWESOME!!!

How the hell is this thing better than a $40 OTA HD set of rabbit ears plugged in to a computer?
