Came here to say this, even though I’m late to this post. It leads people to not take hurricanes as the major events they are. Though winter storms can certainly be dangerous, they do not reach the magnitude of hurricanes - for one, you can always shelter in place rather than evacuate, given a few preparations.

I recently found sheep’s butter at a store, and HIGHLY recommend.  It’s richer yet milder than cow’s butter. It cracks almost like lard. I want to try goat butter next.
