I don’t think so, since he’s a programmer and that would likely cause some issues. It’s more contextual? Like I’ve learned I can’t use a referential “that” if I text/message him because he won’t know which noun it’s referring back to.

He’s not illiterate, by any means, but he skipped around schools so much in early childhood that he never got a consistent reading curriculum. So he like... reads some of the words, but not in order?
