Good Lord, I wasn’t expecting full blown Funkin’ Lesson via a Bass Reeves (The Original Lone Ranger) silent movie and being dropped right in the middle of the Black Wall Street Massacre (wasn’t no damn riot, people were terrorized, bombed and murdered) within the first 5 minutes!

The fact that this show is being review bombed on both Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB complaining about ‘leftist soy-infused’ politics and ‘liberal woke race-baiting’ means it’s doing something right.

I think Adrian has genetically engineered a few other companions, who don’t quite understand cakes yet.

Thanks to David Lindelof & HBO for the first and only mainstream portrayal of the race riot in Tulsa’s Black Wall Street in 1921. Most people outside of Tulsa, or even in it for that matter don’t even know about it. It was completeley scrubbed from the history books.

The Tulsa Race Massacre should be covered in middle or high school. Just an unreal part of American history that gets largely ignored.

I remember when I thought Chasing Amy was the beginning of a true explosion in Smith’s talent.  There was a bizarre time when Smith’s name could be put alongside Quentin Tarantino and PT Anderson.  The 90s were crazy, man.

“Crude and lazy” describes everything Kevin Smith has done post, say, Dogma. Not that Dogma—or anything else Smith has made—was a great movie, but it felt like most of the people involved with it were at least halfway trying.

I’m still pissed off 20 years later that he apologized for Mall Rats. Compared to Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Mall Rats is high art.

I can only hear this in the Car Talk guys’ voices - “John Bugsy Lawler, back from the dominant, prominent, malcontent, nonevent, rubber cement, breach of trust with fraudulent intent pussy...”

The sad part about Trump and his fucked up followers is that they have created this image of this tough guy who swaggers around intimidating people and fully capable of challenging them physically & showing his superiority. In reality he’s an overwieght, unathletic, round, bloated, stupid ass tub of lard that avoiding

I have mixed feelings. Kingsman: The Secret Service offends me in all the right ways. That scene is one of my faves (who knew Mr. Darcy could be a hypnotic killing machine? Maybe Lizzie was on to something with her contempt of him after all). No one, not even this mark and his peeps, can ruin it for me.

It’s about the deputy feeling disrespected I’d wager.

Ladies and gentlemen this is what is at the heart of his whole life, The Beautiful Ones don’t see him as worthy enough to sit with them. Those that wear Diamonds and Pearls see him as a fat loser and want nothing to do with him. You see in his Dirty Mind he should be treated with respect despite accomplishing nothing.

“...not a sequel to a comic that featured a blue naked god-like man that could hang out on Mars if he so wished and a Owl-theme hero.”

Capitalists love to use this idea of a “gig economy” as some kind of freedom for those who are willing to just “work hard.” That idea is a con that pits workers against one another in a never-ending battle to see who is willing to do a job for the least amount of money.

That’s because you’re a bigot.

Hell, at this point what Dems really need to do is keep writing all of it down.

I’m so glad you wrote this, because when I first saw the controversy and then saw the girl’s hair I was so mad. Her hair looks cute and she looks like a normal kid who just got home from a full day of school. I hope her people are shielding her from this Internet nastiness.

As a white woman, my commentary on black women’s hair is, I don’t know anythng about the struggle so I accept the hair choices made. I’m genuinely confused that the reaction to this child isn’t anything more than “adorable kid”. No kid is perfectly coifed all the time. The End.

Okay, so who didn’t Trump call to ask for help in discrediting Mueller? I’m thinking that’s a much smaller list, and therefore easier to remember.
