The same as anoyone who’s name has been used as shorthand for an insult over the decades: “chatty kathy,” “plain jane,” “debbie downer,” “negative nancy,” “lazy susan,” “bye, felicia,” “average joe.” It happens, people deal with it, language trends move on.

Not to mention having to find people to help you move last-minute in this pandemic and endangering their lives, as I would imagine girlfriend has a lot of stuff to pack up. Just not the kind of thing you throw at a former loved one during a worldwide crisis!

Thank you! God. I can’t imagine how awful she must feel. Losing your husband and (if the rumors are true) the possibility of their future child just gone. Especially during a pandemic with high number of cases.

It helps to have money but still, that was one heck of an abusive, publicly embarrassing, nasty move in his part. I feel awful that she or anyone else has to deal with a spouse like that.

The responses are kind of weird.  Whether she can afford to live somewhere else or not - and she can 10 times over - does not excuse what Sarkozy has done to her if the allegation is true.  Can we stop doing the “I don’t feel sorry when bad things happen to rich people ‘cause their rich” bullshit?

My first thoughts honestly weren’t about money at all - I think forcing her to deal with a big move in the midst of a pandemic, with very little notice and in the middle of the one of the worst-hit cities, is the really sinister part.

Y’know, yeah, and I have no real idea of what her childhood was like, maybe it was awesome, but between Full House and all those movies she and her sister did (had to do?), and the general history of child stardom, I doubt I’d be tempted to live her childhood to get her money.

YES him repeatedly screaming NO OTHER GIRL HAD A PROBLEM WITH IT in her face while completely igoring the fact that she was upset he hadnt been honest with her in the first place was SO MUCH. If no one had a problem with it why not just tell her in.the first place? Also if thats who you are you dont want someone who

Oh wow, that’s crazy. I wonder if they had planned to focus more on the pods, but then since so many couples got engaged they had to use the time to follow those stories.

One of my biggest pet peeves was the totally shitty job they did of highlighting to Carlton that the reason people don’t like him isn’t his bisexuality. He acts like a gaslighting asshole who uses that as a cover against criticism. There are some other dynamics involved in his portrayal and the cow towing that Diamond

Lol.  She was definitely not quite the dead weight her husband was.

I found Love is Blind delightfully cringe-worthy and honestly a bit refreshing from the usual format of The Bachelor/Bachelorette.

Nick and Vanessa were PAINFUL even though they were hardly ever there.  They gotta find better hosts and they really have to stop trying to make the phrase “love is blind” happen. It’s the name of the show. We get it. Move on.

Does anyone actually expect Katy Perry and Taylor Swift to hang out? I wouldn’t even expect them to go out of the way to walk across the room to say hi to each other if they were at the same event, other than they would have to because of not-news like this. Last weekend I had lunch with the friend I’ve known the

The USA was founded on genocide by slave-owners, I’d personally rather not return to that particular moral compass.

Not to go too deep on total strangers, but I’ll always remember that interview with D’Angelo where he talked about subconsciously gaining weight after being objectified early in his career. He didn’t want to be a target of that kind of attention anymore, because it felt demeaning. I sorta wonder if Bieb’s current

There’s been a couple of instances where she’s signed onto projects with female directors attached or promised only for them to be sacked or not show up.

Except they are, people have just focused on Portman because she hasn’t met some unachievable bar and did at least something to draw attention to a billion dollar industry of which she’s maybe worth two digit millions of.

No, it just makes that particular criticism of her rather hollow as it’s attacking her for what is increasingly an industry norm. If you looked across the board you’ll no doubt find most production outfits owned by a star only follow that star’s films.

Except it’s not really a big label production company, it’s one of those personal production company outfits (which are exceedingly common now) where all the films under it bar one are ones she’s personally either a director or actor in, largely because they’re not there to fund big productions wholesale but to get
