There are a lot of people like this in general. I grew up with several friends who were not raised by their biological parents. I also have several friends now who are raising other people's children. This is not as uncommon as some people seem to think it is, even when the bio parents are alive and "well".

You know that Nick Gordon and/or Mom is going to write a book about this, it will be written at a grade 3 literacy level, will be a national bestseller in the U.S., and proudly displayed in bookstores next to the Tori Spelling books.
