True, and then we can live in Ayn Rand’s America. Better than Gilead!

Mother Jones has been covering this since October.

One of our antis (and CPC worker) at my abortion clinic wrote a blog post about helping a woman. They rallied and bought her diapers, for for six months, parenting classes, etc.

If the GOP insists they’re the party of fiscal responsibility and want to reduce government spending, they should be providing MORE money to Planned Parenthood so that women of all income levels can afford birth control.

no one is contributing to any witch-hunts by saying shit like “i think rape fantasy is squicky AF and i don’t apologise for that” online. get a fucking grip.

I deal in fantasy too. I’ve heard fantasies just like this one expressed by a few people.

Yep. The worst thing that happened to me is not for you to rub one out to.

I have a 15 year old and an 11 year old. They are babies who need so much love and support from their families. This is beyond horrifying.

it is what happens when fantasy is indulged so much that it’s not enough anymore. sorry, but not all kinks are healthy.

Isn’t “quite as amazing”? Well I’m so glad these animals’ misery and torture is providing you with a source of entertainment. After all, it’s your due—you’re a member of the human race!!

Are you arguing that performing shows is the only way for these unfortunately unreleasable captive orcas? Because that’s nuts! There are other ways to get exercise other than performing. Most living things, humans included, manage to survive without performing for an audience.

As I live in San Diego, I used to go to Sea World about once a year as a child. At some point I had to start paying for my own stuff, and it got too expensive for me. Then I realized how messed up it was, so I never bought myself a ticket even when I could afford it again. So fifteen years passed since I had last been

It was made back in 1998/1999, but I highly recommend Life of Birds, hosted by David Attenborough-absolutly amazing documentary footage of birds and bird behavior. I’ve had the good fortune to visit some of the countries in which he filmed, and seen a lot of bird species in person, but I am also content to have

This is precisely why I’m such a huge fan of birds. They’re the easiest form of wildlife to see in cities, so they’re the best way to get kids hooked on nature - at least, that’s how it worked for me.

Well, for SeaWorld at least, I think most of the remaining whales were born into captivity so they couldn’t be released. SeaWorld has promised to stop breeding so the ones left will be the last at SeaWorld. I don’t think there is much more we can hope for.

They don’t make them fight but the real up natural pods and put big whales in tiny pools with strangers, fighting ensues.

I am glad to see the shows end, but the whales are still kept in captivity. They are still taking animals that have evolved to roam 70% of the world and confining them in small tanks.

Do you know what’s educational and a great way to see animals’ behaviours? Documentaries. BBC’s Planet Earth series are magical. Get the DVDs, watch them on your high-def big screen TV and be amazed by nature. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll learn cool stuff. And if you want to experience nature up close and

Thank you. Yes to all of this. It’s been Jess ever since that episode when he showed up and yelled “WHY did you DROP out of YALE?!” at Rory.
