I just bought BSG on Blu-ray a week or two ago because I was hankering for a rewatch and it wasn’t on streaming. I watched this show weekly since the beginning and had to take a long break after the ending. Season 1 was perfect. I’m curious how I’ll have found it aged now that it is 20 years old.

I’m sorry to see the new Quantum Leap go. It was cheesy and fun like a 1990s syndicated show. I adore the cast and got emotionally invested in their characters.

My brain read "Liam McIntyre," who the recast Spartacus after Andy Whitfield tragically died.

I am a regular customer at both Pink Gorilla locations. The staff, including the two who were robbed, are always helpful, friendly, and welcoming. I can only imagine how frightening this must have been, and I am thankful they weren’t physically hurt.

I was in high school when Kingdom Hearts was in development, and I couldn’t believe it was happening. Such a crossover seemed unreal. Especially when the cast was announced.

Where do folks live where the public libraries have videogames? I’d never heard of such a boon! I’m in Seattle and our library system doesn’t even have the strategy guides.

I discovered Princess Mononoke when it was a new release at Blockbuster. I was probably in 9th grade at the time. It spoke to me as a suburban teen craving my nuance in my entertainment. I was struck by the environmentalist themes with the tensions between conservation and development, old and new, spirit world and

We are pretty mad we didn’t get our promised pizza emotes from the GrubHub Endwalker promotion.

Same. I’ve been looking forward to this film forever now, but I’ll be in for more of a wait. Movie theaters aren’t requiring masks in my city, which makes me nervous since I have young kids at home who aren’t old enough to be vaccinated yet.

Did I miss something? You miss the Pikachu N64 console but still own it?

Me neither. I saw it in the theater when I was in junior high and enjoyed it. Reminded me of my favorite book series at the time, Animorphs.

Not to be pedantic, but I just rewatched “Prometheus,” one of the mercifully few episodes where Hercules crosses over to XWP, and Xena does knock out Herc from behind with her sword. And then Kevin Sorbo would go on to whinge forever more, “it’s not fair, Hercules is a demigod, why is Xena as stroooooooong at him!!!!”

Best overall: The Debt.

I agree they were always women. Bound (1996) is an indication. I do question, however, if a studio would have invested $63 million in the sisters’ second film if it knew they were women.

For many years, Joss Whedon was so untouchable. I’m glad that Charisma Carpenter is finally being heard. Carpenter stated at DragonCon in 2009 that Whedon fired her for getting pregnant, but there was very little public response. About ten years ago, I was flamed on this very blog for posting the YouTube clip of

Did I miss an article, or is io9 not reviewing Discovery season 3?

I really enjoy watching this series with my kids, and don’t understand why it isn’t more popular. I’d never heard of it outside of the Netflix algorithm recommending it. It has of themes in common with Steven Universe and She-Ra, which still come across my feed almost daily.

What a slap in the face from Netflix after Dark Crystal won the Emmy for Outstanding Children’s Program.

I watched Sleepy Hollow back in the day because of how much io9 loved it. It was so disappointing how it went off the rails. I never did finish it, not after Abby Mills left. She was the best character.

We just walk in. The businesses are open and as packed as they can be with our social-distancing restrictions. The roads are closed to traffic, but residents and delivery people may enter with their vehicles.
