Although I feel the same, I have to say that their OS and ecosystem has some of the best parental controls, so even though I’m a Nexus or bust kinda person, I might still get this for the kids... Google Play/YouTube/etc. just sucks for parental stuff... Microsoft is even good as well... but not as cheap.

I’m curious about the optimizer, but other than that, there is not enough reason to go through the pain of trying to disable all the silly things that are now newly integrated into the OS. (I’m looking at you, Twitter!)

They have one, but, unlike with a mouse, the benefits are not really that great... backlighting would kill the battery in no time... and people can snoop on your typing. Since you don’t really move it around so much, the cable s not an issue at all...
