Mexico City is wild as fuck in a good way — if you can find someone from there to travel with it will make your time 100x easier.

The cartels only do this to other Mexicans, they don’t want to deal with the fallout from murdering gringos.

It’s better in areas that you wouldn’t consider stepping in even 10 years ago.
