I said this in another comment, but I genuinely liked Twilight (although I did first read it in high school). Bella was actually a very realistic teenage girl. It makes sense she’s short-sighted and slightly annoying. She’s actually fairly charming. Not to say it’s a great love story, but it’s a fine guilty pleasure.

ARE WE THE SAME PERSON? Seriously it’s SO BAD. It’s bad writing even for fanfiction. And this is from someone who genuinely liked Twilight.

Literature isn’t a 100% accurate description of life and I think we all know that, but it also can have a negative influence. If men grow up reading novels where the woman has 0 personality other than being “nice and cheery” and of course beautiful, that will paint in part how they see the world.

Thanks to my job, I know plenty of men who see women as people, hold feminist and anti-racist views, etc. That being said, except for like two, all of their girlfriends/wives are significantly more attractive than them. I feel like 55% or so of straight women are catches, but only like 10-20% of men are, so most of us

Uber literally tells you not to tip (seriously, it’s on their website). I prefer Lyft because it prompts you to tip.

20%, or if you ordered something that’s only $15-$20, I go ahead and do like $5. If it’s snowing and/or just really cold I honestly do 50%-120%.

Don’t get me wrong, I hate Bobby Jindal but like all schools work that way. I don’t know why you’re so bitter... Were you depressed and/or to busy with other things to do work? Cuz you don’t just get an A for being smart, you have to work.

Even as a virgin, I’ve had this experience and been groped/kissed in the process. I always thought of it as sexual assault (or in this case, rape) because it is so crystal clear the other person does not want to do this (hence saying no a thousand ways but not actually saying no in the moment) that even if the rapist

I eat kit kats exactly like this. The idea is to just get the wafer (the best part). I am 265 lbs though, so I can guarantee this does nothing to aid weight loss.

The key knife is also great for: opening boxes and mail. Besides looking cool/helping you feel a little safer walking at night, it’s also like a keychain letter opener.

I was tempted to say Target is just as evil but then I remembered Walmart built on ancient Mayan ruins... So yeah they win at evilness. I should really just shop at Costco.

I wish I could do the same but URGH everything is cheaper there! What am I supposed to do, buy less and have a budget?

You and I are kindred spirits.

I thought I was allergic (or at least intolerant) to crab after some horrible vomitting... Turns out it was just bad crab. Hope it turns out ok for you too.

Anecdotely, sure. Scientifically, no.

I just ignore them usually. The Internet is for writing comments and never returning to see what people replied.

*hugs* As another commenter said, you’re not alone. It’s frustrating as hell. Try to ignore these studies. What happens “in general” or whatever doesn’t work for a lot of people’s situations.

Have you tried Dove chocolate? It’s by Mars but roughly a million times better than Hershey’s.

Where are you from? Some dystopian future where cotton is worth its weight in gold?
