Have it. Love it. Efficient, reasonably priced, adorable.

I will not read this book. I will not purchase this book. Ever.

I love this! I'm half-Iranian, and having an Iranian-born mother in America means being exposed to some wacky beauty advice (by Western standards).

I really enjoyed this piece. I think all women can relate to the struggle to look and feel pretty in a society with very specific (and often unobtainable) ideas of what that means. I have friends that are models - literally - and they admit that they don't feel beautiful, even though they have enviable figures and

I'm not a regular watcher - so thanks so much for pointing that out!! Definitely makes sense.

Meh, I'm not too bothered by it. Even gynecologists can be careless - she's only human, after all. If anything, it opens them up for an episode that could educate people and also make those of us (haha, outed myself) who ended up with oopsy-babies not feel so stupid, judged, or alone.

Wait, so does the moon belong to America because we put Neil Armstrong (Neil A... backwards... AlieN?!) on it?

My teeth are yellow and I can't afford to whiten them and, let's be honest, all of those "tricks" don't really do shit.

I have a pair and, while I love them, they are underfoot more than any cat I've ever owned. I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally kicked one or nearly tripped over one.

I really do love that you brought this up. Very good points.

I've yet to hear of a credible scientist (someone who has actually studied viruses/microbiology/etc) that believes that vaccines are bad. My kid's pediatrician, who I have trusted for medical care and advice, recommends vaccination.

Goddammit people. I get that we don't want our kids exposed to shit we don't like/agree with, because it does have some affect on them. But here's the thing... if your kids see Frozen and learn that Men Are Stupid, then you clearly don't have adequate male role models in their lives.

Before my husband, all of my relationships lasted about 3-4 months. Not necessarily on purpose, I just kinda seemed to know around then if I'm done with a relationship.

i found my dress while looking for a bikini coverup. It was the only white thing on the clearance rack at a store i like and it fit me perfectly despite it being a size i normally don't wear.

I'm really glad you had a good experience! Honestly, I'm afraid to meet him because I don't want to be let down lol. I've heard both things - that he's awesome and that he sucks. Honestly, I find it easy to believe that he's an ass, just from some stuff I've seen online and a friend's anecdote.

I didn't know about that - I just saw the recent kerfuffle about the whole "OMG you support Nazis?!" nonsense regarding his support of their free speech. I mean, he doesn't seem wrong but he doesn't say things in a way that seems right... does that make sense? And for someone with his gift for writing...

That's pretty much what I've heard, too - a friend met him and I've seen a few people talk about him online and stuff.

That's mostly what I've heard. It'd be nice if it isn't true and he's really a total sweetheart, but I've mostly heard that he totally puts on an act for people and he's really kind of a dick.

I love his work. I've read a good amount of it, and think he's a fantastic writer. One of my favorites, in fact.

That's exactly what I was thinking!! I was just sitting here like, "well, she does do crazy stuff for fans sometimes... maybe she sent the guy a card or something and it... oh, Miley? Yeah, no. Dude's nuts."
