To be fair, a lot of these IoT systems do have terrible security. At the very least they should have two-factor authentication as the standard, when we are talking about people seeing and controlling homes over the internet.

Nest also makes it really easy to turn on two-factor authentication. People are just so lazy with their security around this.

This does not sound like the camera was easily hacked. It sound more like the family used the same password and login info across a lot of platforms and by process of elimination the individual was able to gain access to their Nest account do to this human error.

I am decidedly not a Hillary fan, but this is a very uncharitable take on what she has said here.

Also, on the “gutsy” front, I am going to assume this writer is not a parent. I don’t have the details from the anecdote in question, but if one of Hillary’s friends is talking about her young child, I’m going to take “a few years ago” to mean in the 1990s when HC herself had a young child. At that time (or even

So, she reveals that she supports trans people and that she’s learning and trying to better herself on a topic and human condition that she wasn’t familiar with for most of her life. And the takeaway here is that that’s “not pretty”? The purity tests are unreal.

Bingo.  Its an odd tendency for many to try to box out allies on these issues and more.

What on earth. This woman can’t do anything right. I’m sorry her honesty is not pretty enough for you. (pretty enough!!!!! How did you end this piece saying that!)

Now playing

Add me to the list of people who’ve avoided Fleabag, but after this episode of SNL, that avoidance will end (once I find the time to watch even more television).

Not voting for Hilary Clinton was voting for Donald Trump. Not telling everyone you know to vote for Clinton was helping Donal Trump become president. Actions have consequences.

This is kind of what I expect a good leader to do. And I actually respect the fact that they haven’t publicly said what he did. I think that’s the professional and correct approach.

I don’t think it has anything to do with being a millennial. The death wish thing might be more accurate. I would have verbally ripped him a new one when I was younger, but unfortunately I found that in ancient times - or here today The South - when a woman forcefully stands up for herself she’s likely to be the one

Maybe it’s because I’m a millennial and we’re all wishing for death because our future is so bleak, but i absolutely would have screamed at that dude and chased him out of the place. I don't fucking care anymore. Ive done it before and i will do it again. I have nothing to lose.

This right here is a powerful piece of writing and goddamn, so many men suck so hard. My hackles and my shoulders went up reading this. I hate the pressure to stay polite both for social pressure-y reasons and safety alike. I’m sorry you had to endure this recent bullshit and five decades of this kind of bullshit.

It. Never. F*cking. Ends. No matter how old they get. A while back, I saw a little old man walking his dogs. I stop to pet his dogs and we exchange pleasantries. He finds out I am on my way to turn in some applications because I am looking for work. He then offers me money to have sex with him and seems surprised that

It sounds like the judge should try being a woman for a week. He might figure it out. I’m 58 years old. For the most part I look 58 years old. I’m physically disabled. Yesterday I was at Costco and got a hotdog when I was done shopping. I sat at the first table to eat, and parked my cart at the end of the table. A guy

The Presidential Records Act doesn’t apply to members of Congress.

Or? We could just fucking let them? Would it be that much of a loss?

I have no problem with his age. I have a problem with his white, male, deeply opportunistic deafness. The entire, “I’m avuncular” act.
