"The page is a lot simpler and lighter, which means it will load quickly." Except that the sidebar of articles on the right won't load for me? Soooo...no, so far it's not easier but I will be patient and go find another blog to read for a few days while I wait.

Wow. Well done, Zach. Beautifully said and with so much humanity. I have tears in my eyes.

I so love that this articulate and intelligent little girl is showing off her brilliance...while wearing Hello Kitty pajamas.

@Bathorie: I had kindergartners wet themselves in my classroom because a 30 min music lesson was too long for them to hold it. Add the problem that the kid only asked to go to the bathroom about three seconds before "breaking point," as it were, and I had a puddle.

LadyMegSoprano Meg C.

@Kangaru: No, this is why I bring lunch from home. : )

@KalisTail85: Awwww, whoosa pwetty kitty?! *ear scritches*

I could buy twelve fancy cat beds and that's not going to stop my cats from sleeping on me. And don't suggest locking them out of my room at night. That just ain't gonna happen.

More proof that just as soon as they develop opposable thumbs, cats will take over the world. She's got him as well-trained as my cats have me.

@nibnycgrrl: I'm just sorry you lost your stuff...that shit's expensive!

@OnTheLevel: Let me just wish you all good things, and peace. I hope that you can reestablish a relationship with your family, and that they can accept you. But if not, I wish you peace and happiness as you start this new chapter of your life.

@Ruby_de_la_Booby: We have a similar concept in our own society—"Well, she was asking to get raped, going out in a short skirt."

@MagsCO: Tell him that LadySoprano at Jezebel lost 60 pounds, still has a hard time getting a date, and is on unemployment.

@oaktree89: Yeah, I laughed at that one. It's actually good advice!

@Miss C: P.S. Wasn't taking away from your point about EMTs. They are most often really awesome and really great at comforting a person while taking care of that person's injuries or illness.

@Miss C: We could say the same thing about teachers!

If you must post a misogynist tweet,

My favorite was Lord Voldemort's contribution: "If he's not wearing an 'invisibility cloak,' don't let him into your 'restricted section.'" Ha!
