Ditto. The only Wes Anderson films I've seen are Fantastic Mr. Fox and Moonrise Kingdom. But I loved the heck out of those two.

I admit, I don't actually know every film spoofed in this post, can someone give me a rundown?

Don't worry, I've read 'em. I chalk it up to Moby Franke doing the mercs' designs, and then Michael Avon Oeming and Heather Campbell designing Pauling. Or something.

Maybe I should post some of my TF2 artwork on TAY...

Yeah. Both girls didn't quite match the art style. Pauling looks more like Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite.

Doesn't mean Pyro isn't some other girl.

No, to my knowledge, she isn't.

Scout hit on another blonde girl once, but that comic wasn't canon.

Pyro stands up and blasts the monster with fire in the final battle while Pauling's protecting Scout.

If I had to guess, it's because IDW owns the comic book rights to both franchises, and they're admittedly a bit shameless with most of their crossovers. They crossed over Angry Birds with five different franchises this month to promote their new AB kids' comic.

I think if Nintendo ever does their own anime, I'd like a Smash anime, but I think as a warm-up, just to test what they can do with animation, I'd like a WarioWare slice-of-life show. I don't think the games, as much as I love them, have ever utilized its charming, funny cast as much as I'd like them to.

I think I may hold off on Madoka for now, if only because I've been really anxious lately, and I don't think I could deal with a downer anime. Sailor Moon seems (mostly) more positive.

I don't need it explained to me. I already understand. I thought you were saying "it's relevant because Miyamoto thinks gay relationships are gross, so do I, he's correct", that's why I got upset.

Agreed. I have a friend in an open relationship (he's gay, she's a lesbian, they still love each other very much) that works fantastically, so I'm not against them, but both people have to be on board for it to work. I had an ex who wanted to be open (although his definition of "being open" was "I can sleep around,

They do, for a few shows, like Baccano! and Black Lagoon.

I haven't seen Madoka. Just a couple seasons of Pretty Cure and reading Cardcaptor Sakura. All shows take awhile to get up and running.

Digimon was probably a case of "better show, but Pokemon had better games".

It's not relevant, though. In fact, it's completely wrong. If the relationship isn't incestuous, we should be engaging and cheering on Nintendo for making the correct decision, and welcoming in openly gay characters.

Parody account. Shigeru Miyamoto doesn't tweet.

As a person who skipped out on the show entirely as a kid, should I give this a shot?

Reminded me of Number Stations too, but specifically the kind that they mentioned in Welcome To Night Vale. In the episode "Numbers", the computer running the station gains sentience temporarily, developing a personality and trying to fight back.

Uh, because gay men and heterosexual women enjoy looking at penises, lesbians and straight men enjoy looking at boobs, and bisexuals enjoy both. Kinda how their brains are wired.

I only ask because I know some people who do not believe a Muslim and a Jew can be in the same room without throttling each other. And that frustrates me beyond compare.

Then I'm sorry, skip it. You don't get to see boobs, because I'll never see Batman's penis on screen. Fair is fair.

And I sir, am no pussy.
