But she kinda is unjustly persecuted, no? Married off to an older guy who loves a dead girl she can never live up to. Overlooked by her family and ignored due to her gender; stuck manipulating things from behind the scenes in order to grasp power she can never hold in her own right.

But, in the books, it's also the moment where we start to back her. She handles herself so well that it's hard not to admire her. George RR Martin is not only ruthless in killing off the characters we love; he also allows redemption for the characters we hate.

You should totally read this book.

Black Mirror is, without a doubt, one of the best series on UK TV. I am super excited to know they're doing a third season. The fact that Jon Hamm is going to be in it will hopefully find it an audience in the States as well.
