I tend to quietly agree, at least for me personally. I’ve seen people do famously with four kids and horribly with one, so it all depends on the person and their resources. It does cheer me to see our population rate going down ever so slightly, though, for the reasons you cite here (mostly environmental).

I don’t think anyone ever said that. Just that SRSFACE should get the fuck off his high horse, since its pretty easy for us males to tell women what they should do with their bodies.

Guess you aren’t aware that there are >400,000 untested rape kits in the U.S. Today reaching back decades. Guess you don’t know only 3% of reported rapes are convicted. They usually plead them down ... Trials are expensive and we women just aren’t worth it...though we pay taxes too...

but the vast majority of them genuinely do want to help you.

Hey you dumb bitch-sluts looking to extort all the hard working men! Why don’t you come forward more often? Huh slut? I’m talking you to bitch! Yeah come forward you dumb slut who’s extorting this young man. Come on and extort this man you stupid bitch lying about getting raped slut. Your whole family knows what a

Tell that to the rape victim in states where there are thousands of rape kits from years ago still waiting to be tested

Thank you for the advice. You’re so brave and wise and helpful

I know the police get a bad rap, but the vast majority of them genuinely do want to help you.

The police did nothing for me except intimate that I was responsible because I let someone walk me home.

As someone who has accompanied multiple friends through the rape kit and reporting process, I think you are delusional.

In case nopenotathing’s links didn’t convince you, here are some more reasons — rapist cops:

Being victimized all over again by the cops, prosecutors, family, friends, and community, makes most women decide it’s a better to just get over it and move on with your life. Except getting over it is never as easy people hope. Your, if it’s true, is exactly how the authorities look at rape victims. I’m not speaking

Victims don’t fear that the police will do nothing. Victims fear that the police will actively abuse them. And it’s a totally reasonable fear. Just a few links: 1, 2, 3, 4.

The “vast majority” of cops are parked permanently at stop signs to check if people feel that roll-back. The “vast majority” do not care about people accusing rape, and the “vast majority” are not interested in receiving such paper reports. If you live in Singapore or some such other police state, then please identify

Awww, it’s sweet that you think that.

Not necessarily the same result. Sometimes it means you avoid being re-traumatized by poorly trained police officers.

Yeah, I don’t think the issue is so much the parents who have a problem with it, but the kids who really need to be able to get information without their parents knowing.

If there’s no indication to the kid that the stuff isn’t private, a lot of children could put themselves in danger by looking up stuff about sexual

I think distilling an idea into a strawman is a worse way to argue and you should be above that, ya know, being a law talking guy and all.

These types of things cover up the real issue - parents aren’t spending enough time exploring how to be safe and smart online with their kids. I imagine a bunch of that is still a leftover technological generation gap and some is because there are sucky parents.

I hope you are never burdened with the prosecution of a parent for beating their closeted homosexual child to death.
