The more I hear about this show, the more I’m looking forward to it. I think Timothy Dalton would make a great Chief too.

Thank you for such a comprehensive reply. I do like James Spader and, of course William Shatner, but am also guilty of avoiding procedural type series as well. However, you make a compelling argument for both The Practice and Boston Legal, and I will indeed look them out as you suggest.

Thanks!

I just couldn’t be bothered to write out “Doom Patrol” twice in one post as I didn’t actually think anyone would read it, seeing as I am permagrey here!

(Me too, but I didn’t care much for the storyline where it turned out his dwarfism wasn’t natural but that he was a really tall guy who had been magicked or something stupid)

“Chen Andalou” lol! I hope he has adequate eye protection for his adventures.....

Is this the same continuity as the Doom Patrol in “Titans”? I have long been a fan of the DP and was really pleased at the way they were portrayed there.

Superb article.

I couldn’t agree more.

I used to like the Asda “Moda” bootcut jeans, and when I heard they were discontinuing the Moda range, bought several pairs.  But everyday trousers, yes, M&S are my go-to, except they seem to have less and less wide leg or bootcut in their jersey ranges which is a shame as they hang really nicely.

I had a quick look at their website and it seems they ship to the U.K. so that might well be an option!

Hello people who set trends, please can flares come back into fashion again? You can still call them “bootcut” if you like, but I would just like to be able to wear nice trousers again. I’m a little on the large size but only 5foot and some change tall and just being able to buy various types of skinny cut trousers mak

I cannot agree more. No matter where in the world I am, what type of restaurant it is, if I ask for anything extraneous to the dish to be left off (those little swirls of squirty cream on desserts; chunks of iceberg lettuce or avocado on hot food...) I don’t get any resistance. The moment I say “without mayonnaise,

When it’s possible to see a new movie in the cinema with subtitles, I’ll start going again. I don’t need hearing aids, but in the cinema I can’t process dialogue when there are any kind of sound effects or music going on simultaneously.

Thanks so much for posting those pictures, Kinja is really playing up for me right now. I love the Snagglepuss Chronicles, I can honestly say it made me cry in parts, something a comic hasn’t done for me in many many years. And the Batman/Elmer Fudd one is comics perfection. I quite liked the Flintstones series and a

I.......did not know that this existed! I was just talking about the awesomeness of the DC/Hanna Barbera comics in another thread but this one must have stayed hidden or out of reach or something.

The Wilhelm Meow, you could say.....

I was halfway through a reply but I think Kinja ate it or something?

Those Snagglepuss comics are gorgeous and very well done; the Batman/Elmer Fudd one is awesome. I rather liked the Wacky Races and Flintstones ones too. I’m definitely up for more comic treatments like that, and was hoping that was the reason behind the Banana Splits now being murderers.
