Is that it? No more tests or anything? Not even a recommendation to see your GP for follow-up?

The free TFL (transport for London) app will help you plan your journey by either tube or bus - or both! Their website will also help to give you an idea of pricing etc.

Brexit smexit, come over if you want! The bonus for your plans are that most of our larger museums & galleries (and many smaller ones) are free, with suggested donation boxes which you can easily walk by without being guilted into using (but please donate something if you can, it’s always gratefully received).

To be fair, I do have an underactive thyroid issue (following cancer and full thyroidectomy) and 62 yr old hubby had a quadruple heart bypass in 2012 so that’s two medical issues we didn’t have to deal with when bringing up our own children. Oh, and I had surgery on my knees so I can’t run so much anymore. Both of us

I absolutely adore my 4 year old grandson. He’s an absolute delight, bright and inquisitive and genuinely fun to be around. We pick him up from nursery school every Monday at 11:00am and return him to his parents at 5:00pm. It takes us all day Tuesday and me part of Wednesday to recover. We honestly never felt this

I’m glad someone else thinks so! I’m grey here so my duplicate post hasn’t been seen.

Came here for Calvinball, left very happy. 10/10 would reply to you again.

I love it when futuristic visions call upon 1930s Art-Deco or 1920s Metropolis styling. In black or white, naturally. The future is desaturated, just like the past.

One teacher at my secondary modern school insisted on calling me “you, boy” for the entire two years I was there (11 yrs to 13 yrs of age). I was, and remain very much female, despite being short haired.

How on Earth that bad things keep happening to such a lovely soul I will never understand.  Have you spoken to the police? Even the most rudimentary description of the scumbag might be helpful to stop him attacking someone else.

A quote from a rape scene? Really? smh

My favourite tv show when I was little was Thunderbirds, by the incomparable Gerry & Sylvia Anderson, and I desperately wanted to be Lady Penelope. Beautiful, independent, adventurous, compassionate and could hold her own in any situation, she was my muse for many years. My only regret is that my speaking voice isn’t

He had obviously heard that it wasn’t right to deprive himself of such “remarkable chemicals”.

That was my very thought too. “Hand pies”? Really?

Meh. These people are stupid. If their “chemicals” are that “remarkable”, why are they so homophobic? Wouldn’t they want to keep the good stuff for themselves?

I love the detail on the faces in “Criminal”, that looks like one for me to try.  But everyone should be reading Atomic Robo. And why on earth don’t more people comment on these excellent pull-list threads? Marvel & DC may still be the big players in the industry but I thought i09 was a place for the more discerning

These days, when I buy a book from one of my favourite authors, I tend to buy it in hardback (preferably first edition signed) and the ebook version to actually read. There are books on my shelves I have never opened but can almost recite whole chapters as I’ve read them so many times on my iPad.

I’ve done a similar thing. I got rid of boxes and boxes of my favourite books but replaced them with the ebook version, so they’re not lost to me.  I still have hundreds of books but they’re all hardbacks which give me satisfaction to look at on the shelves, and coffee-table books which simply can’t be replaced by an
