I was not expecting that ending and it will be interesting to see where it goes from here, good thing that this got a second season before it even aired. I hope Konstantin is still alive because I finally got around to liking him (Kenny too in this episode, the assistant still needs work)

“Look, once I explain to all you ladies how you’re supposed to feel about my actions, I’m sure you’ll agree that I didn’t do anything wrong.”

Weird, I didn’t see you at the sexual assault and misconduct reporting seminar. I must have missed you.

OMG it so utterly was, perfection. It’s often been quoted as one of the best finales ever.

“The reboot finally answers some of the mythology questions!”

Yeah The X-Files reboot was definitely a bit of a “Monkey’s Paw” type deal for me, too.

And that’s taking my comments way too seriously. But now that you mention it, we don’t know how long Cosby’s gonna live. He’s 80 now; he could conceivably live another 10 or 20 years. Besides, he used his wealth and power to become one of the most prolific sex offenders in history, yet he’s facing a maximum of 10 years

I imagine people 20 years ago would’ve said this about The Simpsons, and look how that turned out, but I’ve personally seen every 30 Rock and Seinfeld episode enough times that the total time I’ve spent watching them probably adds up to a couple of months by now. I could use some more of those, particularly as NYC

Star-Trek TNG = yesterday and forever

It’s creepy AF to refer to a pregnant woman as “ripe”. Don’t ever do that.

One thing, I think, is that the little stuff enables the big stuff. If a manager (or a cop, or a media publication, or whatever) turns a blind eye to low-grade harassment, both sex pests and victims will see that and adjust their behavior accordingly. The sex pests will be more emboldened to do big bad stuff, because

Can you believe this nonsense?!

It might be how it was delivered that made her uncomfortable. I can imagine it being said in a completely innocuous manner but if you draw out the “R” sound like “rrrrrripe!” along with some lurid, long glances up-and-down it would definitely come off as creepy and violating.

If, when any of the times I was pregnant, some guy I was interacting in a professional capacity with had said to me that I was ripe, I’d have given them some serious side eye. Really inappropriate. Nobody in a professional/work setting should be commenting on a coworker/employee’s body.

That may be the intent of some, but when my wife was pregnant, anytime anyone said anything about the way she looked (good, bad or other) we had a system in which she squeezed my hand in order to indicate, “we need to go now if you don’t want me to kill this motherfucker.” She had no desire to hear anyone else’s

“recent historic evidence suggests that President Lincoln KNOWINGLY sold poison milk to school children”

GET. OUT!

I want her to leave the stage dancing like Elaine.

I think we can agree it was a bit of both columns really. His music is amazing, his persona was also(but also was totally crazy)

The amount of offense she took over Kostantin hitting her with a log was hilarious. She’s so used to people either not resisting, or not resisting hard enough.
