Hmm - I actually really liked this episode. Both Jamie and Claire are more interesting apart, they have the opportunity to breathe and stretch, and more importantly, have some motivation other than ‘lets look good under soft lighting together’.

If the animal MUST have medication then its environment is completely unsuitable, and that is cruel to keep it there. People are able to express their feelings, and choose what medication to take (and SSRIs do not affect every human in the same way), animals don’t

My ethical position is that where an animal cannot cope with its environment and is under chronic stress, with no hope of improvement, that euthanasia is kindness.
