I would like to visit the twenties to see the glamour, but not to stay.

They're not really a breed per se - it's a coat colouration that is found in many breeds (like a piebald horse isn't a breed).

Soap. You can get it in the UK. I don't recommend it

Vive la revolution?

Scientist gets public money to fund research

And I wouldn't fake out with Seska's son either.

Just remember, honey, I'm Glaswegian. I'll just drink you under the table and take the show while you're sleeping ;)

Yes. You can be one of my advisors. You get my artistic vision.

Home? HOME! YOU MAGGOTS WANT HOME? YOU ARE IN THE DELTA QUADRANT NOW! EVERYTHING IS TRYING TO KILL YOU!

I ADORE Voyager. Actually my favourite Trek ( I know it's blasphemy). I just would have loved to see it live up to what it could have been.

I'd even be okay with keeping Harry and Neelix - but they'd be social pariahs. And someone would stuff Harry's oboe somewhere . . . um, I mean, I'm good to my imaginary cast.

Dude I wrote a fic on that in my misspent youth. I will add that to one of the overall storyline arcs. You can get credit.

You know I've loved that show for so long, an integral part of my childhood. I loved when it came back rebooted. But the three of them have just solidly worked to piss me off and now I can't even watch the old episodes. They do desperately need some new direction in there. You've got my vote, dude.

Star Trek Voyager. Damn, show, I would make you feel soooo good.

I'm not a hunter myself but I do work with the industry tangentially. It's not 'sporting' to shoot something that is so rare/aesthetically pleasing. There's even some movement in the parks I've interacted with of trying to use hunting to control population (e.g. kill the young male bucks instead of the 14 pointers,

You forgot Sam Vimes!

The Horowitz lab is really good at pushing for more studies on dogs. I'm a fan. Also Miklosi et al cited in this io9 article do a lot of really good work. I work with production animals, but I have done (unpublished) dog work in the past. It's difficult to get funding in this area and actually it's the dog food

Neuroscience is a very important part of studying animal consciousness, and yes, this study does incorporate behaviour (the reporting of it didn't - falling into the trap that behaviour is less important because unlike lovely numbers, behaviour needs interpretation).

Yes indeed - we must be interdisciplinary, crossdisciplinary, intradisciplinary, and all the meldings of the fields we can. After all, we want that sexy funding don't we? ;)
