Sounds like the kind of thing he'd make a movie about . . .

This explanation is certainly amusing me!
You must be a riot at parties. ;)
I really don't know how I feel about this. I quite liked Outlander, but the sequels lost me completely.

Perhaps it means you didn't get along well with your father as a child ...
Damn son, that be gallows humour
I'd read the article by the time I looked at the pic so I've no idea what I took from the pic. Except that the frog looks suspiciously like a scuba diver in disguise.
Damnit, bob_d! Don't push me to the spirits.
Evolution may be one of the most controversial scientific ideas in recent history,
ALL OF THIS
Oh yeah, sure, when ladies are having the babies its all "I'd do anything to make this better for you babe" but when we're bringing out the mad scientists it's all "no, this is tampering with nature, babe!"
Can't we evolve out our periods first? Or evolve men in the childbearing direction? I'm not feeling you Mother Nature, I'm really not.
Yep that's the man!
Oh I've never read Blood Music. What I liked about 'Prey' was its creepiness, it evoked fear in me which is quite unusual for a book. I'll look out for Blood Music though!
Of course I've read the book. It's an enjoyable, 'blockbuster' book of the kind Crichton is best at. I don't think it's a brilliant book, though. Its style is typical Crichton, its message is preachy (and wrong) and it has half a dozen plotholes. As a book it's merely enjoyable. Of the books I actually prefer The Lost…
Yep! Don't get me wrong, I loved Terry back in the day, but Norton has definitely stolen that crown.
Oh, I realised I haven't made this joke on io9 yet!
Excuse you, but Graeme Norton is by far supreme. He gets it. The Wogan was just a gripey old man in the end up.
