Indeed. That is a beautiful, beautiful poster - even allowing for the upped beauty quotient of Daniel Craig and an Aston, it's still so slick

I stayed up late finishing it last night - the end gets a wee bitty weird, but still good in my opinion. The author definitely has a few prejudices she might need to work through

You ever go on those 'internet safaris'? You know how it starts, it's usually a Sunday, you're a little hungover, you just click a link, and then another, and then another and suddenly you are way down the rabbit hole.

I'm just over half way through and the book's very gripping. I can't decide if the author's playing me or if she has some very odd prejudices which occasionally show up, but it's a really stirring read. I recommend.

I do hope that's not an authentic G1. I hear the modders can get extremely unhappy about their wanton destruction.

The Hobbit is an A+ book in my opinion. I feel that LotR (books AND movies) could have used a strict editor.

I have the opposite problem. I find a lot of people have read LotR and it has put them off the fantasy genre (and I don't blame for that, I'm not actually a particularly big fan of the books, I think they definitely need a fantasy lover to be loved)

Oh my god it's a HAND

As someone who actually read the Lord of the Rings novels

Hahaha - an impassioned plea to love Firefly if I ever heard one :)

Well I have promised my mum I'd watch them in order so hopefully I will get around to that eventually. I don't think it was the movie with the heist - they get locked in a vault accidentally? I don't know, it's been many years.

Side-eyeing you so hard right now.

Oh yes - you have such wonderful heart ache in front of you.

It is known

I am a hundred percent behind your comment.

I've seen the one which explains River getting out of her box thingy, one in which Kaylee gets dolled up in a big dress and one with a bank heist that goes wrong, and the movie. My mum and sister keep trying to force me to watch the whole thing start through to end. I feel like I should but I just didn't enjoy any of

Incomplete list is incomplete without Claudia Black as Aeryn Sun. Defrosting Ice Queen done very right.

Oh.

I recommend Pasquale's Angel

Started it last night and it's intriguing so far, reminds me a bit of Paul McAuley's stuff if you're familiar with him
