I’d love to see a historical analysis of ignoring the law as a business model. That could even be the title: “DISRUPTIVE: Ignoring the Law as a Business Model”.

Any business model that gets attached to the word “disruptive,” should, generally speaking, be immediately suspect as a source of fraud and (seemingly prerequisite) law breaking.

I think the more direct translation is, “a product or service which centrally relies on ignoring one or more laws or regulations in order to appear to be successful long enough for the C-level executives and initial investors to cash out.”
