Haaaaate moving. My husband is talking about acreages again, but I can't fathom packing boxes. That said, omg how have you been commuting that far??? Keep your eye on the no commute prize.

I have never been to Alabama, but my husband spends a lot of time there and he says it’s better than Arkansas. So there is a point in favour of Alabama - the husband of a random Canadian Internet commentor thinks it could be worse. :D Congrats on the house!

For me it’s “hot” at 84 degrees, but I suspect many people would laugh at that. No air conditioning though. I go shopping to get the AC.

My husband just started baked potatoes on the grill. I have some sockeye that will go on there later. And whatever veggie scraps I have to use up. Carrots, peppers, broccoli. Probably just going to eat them raw with dip. Lazy summer eating.

I have mint and nothing else. Never home enough in the summer anymore. I really miss the garden. I once grew corn. Corn!

Thanks to everyone for your kind thoughts re: my dog Kallie. It’s been a rough time, but I feel better knowing she isn’t hurting anymore. And I'm really glad I'm on Lexapro because I'm actually functioning and making arrangements and crap. On Monday I’m taking my kids out to Ontario to spend a month with friends and

Might be the kiddo is easily distracted. Mine was pretty bad when she got older. So she wanted boob, but then she'd see a shiny thing and look the other way and I'd end up spraying milk across the room.

That really is the funniest thing about it.

My second kid would take the boob any time, any place, in any position. Standing, walking, jogging, dancing. She probably would have just dangled there, tbh.

Thank you. I miss her but I also have this weird happy feeling because she ended her days surrounded by her family patting her and hugging her in her own backyard. She even loved the vet who came to help us out, as she loved all surprise visitors. I’ve never been able to plan things like that with my animals. The

I read this yesterday just as our doggy’s party was coming to an end. Really highlighted for me how important it is for people to have that dignity as well. We should all be so lucky to have such a beautiful passing. It's incredibly unfair that it comes so soon for some people, but I'm very glad to be around at a time

My husband ate some curry leftovers I saved for myself back in 2006. I still haven't forgiven him.

Oh yeah, I’m sure my husband at least throws on a reflective vest or something. Which I guess is orange. I’m going to investigate to see what the rules are in my province. He’s usually really out in the middle of nowhere though. You don't tend to encounter other people unless you are in a big group to start.

I fully did not know this was a thing. I always thought my husband just wore his regular clothes for hunting (food procurement, NOT “SPORT”). Now I'm wondering if he has some bright orange outfit that I don't know about.

I can accept this as I would happily eat them without the sauce.

The other side of her face is one big giant tumour and it spread to her lungs. She's not happy in the slightest anymore. Just suddenly in the last 24 hours she got way worse. I already had a home euthanasia booked. I'm glad. I'd have had to take her to the vet otherwise. This will be much nicer for her.

Oh, what a sweetheart. I'm sorry for your loss.

I thought he was cute on Growing Pains. But never hot. Although at that time “hot” did not really exist for me as a concept.

I’m sorry. Mine also has cancer. It wasn’t super sudden in that we’ve known for a few weeks now, but she’s only 9 and was otherwise very healthy so we weren’t expecting it. Last night I was up most of the night keeping her calm because she kept twitching. Maybe some sort of a seizure. I think she's ready to go. :(

NO. Years back I started a Facebook group called I Hate Ranch Dressing. We had a decent run.
