We learned the rules of rugby in high school PE though. It was one of the fun sports. Especially in the rain.

Who were these people who had their grandparents there all the time? I get that historically that was the case, but it was certainly not how it was for me as a kid. I think I actually have more help because I have my dad in town and his ex (my kids call her grandma). My parents had nobody around for their first ten…
This is really lame but I’m not sure it’s the norm (at least anecdotally amongst my friends and family). Even my idiot dad will take the kids for a few hours when I need help. I think that’s a reasonable expectation. It is unreasonable to expect full time childcare for free. Personally my parents didn’t have any more…
AND THOSE BROWS
My mum tends to do multi days because she lives across the country. We do things like fly her out here for a couple weeks and we take off for one and then spend the next all together. She had them one week when my older was in kindergarten and my younger was just turned three. It was winter. And the times, they have…
This shorts being smaller thing is FOR REAL. 1-2 sizes bigger every time lately.
Eh?
My mum is a very healthy 59 and even she says a few days with the grandkids is exhausting.
I felt bad relying on my dad to drive my kid to preschool for a year while I got my license. He takes the kids for a few hours a couple times a month. My mum doesn’t live here, but she freaking works all day. I find it quite amazing that so many people with young kids even have grandparents about to babysit. My dad…
Steele Johnson has a post-swimming career in porn for sure. I’m not mature enough for that name to exist.
In June I posted one picture of myself in a bikini on Facebook. It was only to prove that I went swimming.
This is what my kids sound like all damn day. Riches and stardom, here we come! :D
Many happy returns! I would totally show up if I wasn't on the other side of the continent.
I always thought LeAnn was older than I am, but she's a few months younger. Who knew? I've done nothing but earn a useless degree and raise children. Sometimes I foster animals.
CBC has had great coverage this year AND a male commentator lamenting the lack of women coaching Olympic level swimming, but this kind of makes me want to switch channels.
Lots of kids end up in the system with issues like this but they do not get adopted easily. Adoption is very much not the answer to this problem. There would just be a lot more kids in foster care with uncertain futures and no families. :( These assholes never think this far. Note the lack of adopted disabled children…
It’s okay everyone. He “gets it”. Which means I assume he's offering to foot the bill for the care of these babies/kids/adults.
Oh, they vary wildly. Out here we don't sound too different from someone from Seattle. But the further east you go...the more stereotypical it gets. Then eventually you hit Newfoundland and holy crap.
Love all the lesbian shitasses. All these comments have helped immensely. :)
I have a cake I made in the freezer. It's chocolate with a ganache filling and peanut butter icing. We are all having some on her last day. A chocolate feast.
