Never fear. At best he’ll send a few ships to Mars. It turns out Mars isn’t a very good place to build a colony. Literally our Moon is a better candidate, and even better is the asteroid Ceres. Mars is a poisonous wasteland at the bottom of a gravity well too deep to make it a practical colony.

Things really came into focus when Cecilia Payne, then an astrophysics doctoral student at Harvard, scribed her thesis on the idea that the stars were mostly composed of hydrogen and helium. At the time, Russell (of diagram fame) and one of Payne’s supervisors called the numbers “impossible,” and Payne ended up

With an infinite number of rocks falling on an infinite number of keyboards, anything is possible.

I was totally prepared for something like, “I was method acting and went a little too far,” which is still pretentious, but at least a little understandable...instead he’s just like, “I’m a douche, fuck you.”

I like how in a previous interview (possibly from this year) he says something to the extent of “I don’t know where those rumors started from.” And there’s literally video evidence of him saying he sent all those things in an interview. Stop trying to save face by lying or making it seem less weird than it was and

“I’m an artist at the end of the day. If I do something risky and you don’t like it, basically, you can kiss my ass.”

Yup. She was a force of nature who brought much needed balance to the group.

The idea that there is intelligent life on earth now is getting less clear on a daily basis.

You have your right to your opinion and I have mine.

I kind of get the feeling that this show is more like the movies and less like the original show. : (

I can’t watch Nicole Kidman in anything anymore because she has had so much work done she can’t move her face anymore. It was so distracting on The Undoing and Big Litte Lies I couldn’t focus on anything her character was saying. I can’t imagine her as Lucy, who moved her face so much.

I enjoyed the first couple of seasons but then it jumped the shark and by the time they started making the movies, it was unbearable.

I don’t feel like watching Carrie grieve him again after suffering through that whole movie of her with the blinds shut. If he is dead, she better be over it by now.

It was also lovely, and sad to see Stanford. RIP, Willie Garson.

“It feels cruel to wish for Big’s death...”

They clearly got the memo that it was a very White show that didn’t age well.  (I'd also argue it was pretty close-minded and shitty at the time.)

“PC Sexual agendas”

It’s not up to Sony. Their contract with Marvel stipulates various requirements about the character, one of which is his sexuality. This topic was covered in detail by Sam Biddle on Gawker years ago:

A lot of people considered “liberals” in the 80s and 90s would be considered socialist radicals now, depending on who is doing the labelling.

Can we please stop asking celebrities to have opinions beyond their latest role? They’re as dumb and uneducated as the general public, just prettier, but you don’t see cameras asking every average Becky on the street what she thinks of vaccine mandates - for good reason.
