I think the inherent issue that is always going to present itself when conventionally professionally successful and connected women try to lead these types of movements is that under the current system the only women who are allowed to be that successful and connected are the ones who play along and have a track

Who would have thought that we can’t girlboss gatekeep our way out of this?

Well, it’s been a good run of friendship between 2 countries, but it’s time to declare war on Canada.

OG Grimace had 4 arms, to better steal your beverages.

Seems like a lot of Texans share commonalities with the Taliban. Love of guns, and control of women. However I am concerned about Jan’s future plans regarding her sex work. Clearly her birth control failed her. Does she have other ideas about how to protect her health and prevent more unwanted prenancies? I am

And remember: these are the same parents that “know what’s best for their children” when it comes to mask mandates and vaccinations.

Yeah, my kid always tells me the least favorite part of his job is telling parents their kids are too short. Nearly everyone will accept it, but that 5-10% of entitled-up-the-wazoo folks will argue and bitch and call him all kinds of names. Two or three times he’s had to call Security. Fortunately his park’s parent

The reason seats seem more tight now a days is because of moron passengers. Just assume each and every person in your park is going to try and kill themselves. I used to work on a Log Flume in high school and I saw a boat / log full of kids standing up on the ride while it was going down the chute.

We had a place like that in the town I lived in when I was in highschool. Most of my friends worked there and they said management was horrible and every ride was sketchy. About a year before they went under they built a sweet multi-level outdoor go kart track. Don’t know how they afforded that. Probably some

The worst job I ever had was at a small, local entertainment center/amusement park. The joint had go-karts, putt-putt, slides, etc. in addition to the typical fair rides like the giant swing, small coaster, and more. The managers were crabby and gave improper training to us teens hired to manage each ride. Looking

What, no mention of the Verrückt water slide at Schlitterbahn Kansas City, which was built after the company somehow convinced the MO legislature to exempt it from any state inspections? It was so insane riders often went airborne. It operated for only two years before someone was killed, and in bit of irony, that

Mediocre white guys are (somehow) a precious resource.

I currently work with a white guy who is somewhat competent but mostly a dickhead. He’s super controlling when it comes to work and very condescending to women. He has no emotional intelligence whatsoever.

Same. I kept my married last name after divorce because it’s the same name as my three kids and the name I used professionally as an attorney for 10 years, it’s my name.

That’s not surprising to me at all. One of my friends divorced her husband but kept his name so she would have the same last name as her kids.

The Y chromosome also ties into the mythology of Kanye as some kind of mad genius (vs. Britney as the girlish puppet with no mind of her own).

I’m guessing it has to do with his Y chromosome.

I don’t have a legal answer but I’m guessing that because the Kardashians are independently wealthy they can just sequester Kanye in whatever mansion they want whereas Britney was/is generating the lifestyle for her conservators all by herself.

How does Britney Spears have to deal with a conservatorship but a clearly batshit crazy person like Kanye doesn’t?

Burton has been a public figure for 40 years. It’s not impossible that he’s done something awful, but at this point do you really think that’s the case?
