It was funny how Waller and the American government (at least the part she represents) are the big bads. Sure the local dictators were bad but really created by American actions there. Even Starro says at the end it was happy there in space before they took it and tortured it for decades.

I spotted him when they were entering the tower and thought, “Dude, why the F are you joining them?” I was not disappointed by the answer.

Those were my thoughts as well. Clearly Starro is a world-endangering threat that needed to be neutralized (I also thought about the nuking the island idea-yes, it would have been similar to Avengers but this is a context where it makes even more sense). Was so bummed to see Flagg buy the farm. That post credits scene was the last twist of that sharp piece of broken in my heart. Totally thought they were talking about Flagg, only to find Peacemaker in the hospital bed. I forgot there was a Peacemaker series coming.

But he did negotiate his freedom with the data. He could certainly make an appearance in another DCEU property, but he’s no longer part of the Suicide Squad.

My favorite part was watching it last night on HBO Max while chilling in my house.
