Look, you read a headline about a teenage girl shoving a bear, you interpreted that headline as describing a wildly more dangerous story than it was, you were disappointed and downplayed it with a rather odd interpretation, and now you’re dug in because people are being snarky to you on the Internet. 

What a ridiculous person. The headline says shove, the video shows her literally shoving the bear. No exaggeration there, just a factual description. The bear is at least 2 times her size even if it is “relatively smaller” than other bears. There is no reason to assume that a retreating bear wouldn’t maul the fuck out…
