If Cap/Winter Soldier doesn’t lean heavily into problematic jingoism/nationalism and the racial backlash to a black man in the Cap uniform, then the show will have utterly failed. If it isn’t pissing off a bunch of assholes, it will have failed to tackle worthwhile subject matter that comics don’t hesitate to run…

If you look at the fonts used for all the different ‘Wanda Vision’ logos - and then look at the pictures from the show - each one lines up like this ...
1950s - I Love Lucy (Black and White)

1980s - Family Ties (big hair Wanda)

So wonderful to see Paul as Vision again, after what seems like forever. I can’t help but think, between Wanda’s powers and the lead into Multiverse, somehow he’s going to make a full return to the MCU?

I’m still going with the theory that Loki went to get a job with the Tennessee Valley Authority and is now doing mid-level bureaucrat regional water-management stuff.

I plan on watching all 3 of these because a) I’ve seen all the MCU to this point so gee why stop now 2) WandaVision & LOKI are being promised that DOCTOR STRANGE 2 link AND enough berzerk comics stuff to genuinely interest me.

I’ll be the one to say it: Loki is going to be the failsafe through which major errors, plot holes and inconvenient truths will be retconned in future Marvel films.
