I was wondering about that but the article didn’t explain it. If they get a request that they don’t like, what’s to prevent them from skipping it? Do you not see the details until after you’ve accepted the job or something?

It’s easy enough to just say it’s exploitation, and exploitation cannot exist without vulnerability.

Oh, look, it’s a “bootstrapper.” How’s the air down there in mama’s basement?

Can’t wait for all the Atlas Shrugged assholes to show up and start yelling “if they don’t like the tasks, they don’t have to do them, bootstraps!” or some shit like that. The big takeaway for me is that there is that there are people who have to depend on this to support themselves because our society leaves them few

“compared to the previous films” is the key part of BUMBLEBEE’s critical praise.

Rogue One was more focused on explaining away the old fanboy complaint about the exhaust port. Plus who stole the Death Star plans. Things we didn’t really need to know. Oh, and we learned that a blind guy can use a stick to beat the crap out of a bunch of armoured Stormtroopers. The Vader corridor scene was pure fan

They went with JJ and his love of the mystery box. Disney was then...

In 2015 I was pretty sure the ST was going to be the “jump forward in time with a newly rebuilt Jedi Order”. Disney really squandered that opportunity once already.

Stopping at season 2, it’s unlikely he would have made it to season 6

The battle droid personality issues were directly related to how they were easily defeated in Phantom Menace. They were designed to be controlled remotely with a control ship. But, seeing as how that turned out to be a real liability in war, they pushed tons of half-hazard updates to the droids that weren’t

Well there was that rumor that Abrams really, really wanted a final shot with all of the Force Ghost heroes from past movies surrounding Rey and backing her up when she faced the Emperor, including Obi-Wan, Windu, Qui-Gon, Yoda, Ashoka and Anakin.

Unfortunate that a planet-destroying planet wasn’t enough impetus for the rest of the galaxy to band together.

I mean, the “super-fleet” didn’t exist two movies ago. Lando was able to get them all together because everyone wanted to stop the Sith Star Destroyer Fleet.

There is quite a good story in season 6 where they explain that the clones all have a biochip implanted in their brain.

The main problem with the Disney content outside of the Starwalker Saga, has been that even though it’s set at the same time as the Saga movies, they don’t really add much to the Star Wars universe.

A very cynical part of me suspects that the super-fleet wasn’t in the movie at all until last summer. Disney execs probably told Abrams that the movie needed an “on your left” moment, because that went over so well in Endgame.

It feels like all of those characters were intended to play larger roles if the show continued. At some point after season one, though, season two was announced as the last and all of that went away. We still don’t know exactly why that happened—the producers told us last year they just felt it was the right time. But

Two cats. One’s a tortoise shell with a random pattern and the other a more uniform Siamese. They’re entangled.

Is there a cat inside?
