Yep. I mean, look at the comments dragging this woman. It’s like (clutching pearls, stank face), “how dare she not make the choices I would make or utilize the resources I have available?” It’s no different than conservatives who swear to love “life” but then shit on any social resources for parents to thrive once…

As with everything else in life, there is an opportunity cost. If you choose to have a child, then you have chosen to give up certain opportunities (like being in a college classroom) unless you can find other resources for the child.

Are babies radioactive or something? I think there’s a happy medium between chaos (all the kids, everywhere) and outright bans. On a case-by-case basis. There will be different expectations given the age of the kid (a sleeping infant vs a fidgety toddler for example) and the kid’s behavior.
