Shall we cut out the parts of the Bible that we don’t agree with? Should we make God after OUR image? Or should we agree to disagree with gays? Love doesn’t equal accepting sinful behavior.

The school treated her fairly. She broke the terms of her contract and got fired. The school is right to uphold Biblical teaching. Nothing personal against her.

No need for obscene language. She broke the terms of the contract. She got fired for it. End of story.

It is the right of any school to fire a teacher for breaking the terms of their contract. It is not discrimination, it is Biblical teaching.

No one HAS to work for Hobby Lobby. Kudos to them for following their beliefs. Don’t like it, don’t work there.

Stupid analogy. Both are wrong.

Obscenities are never necessary.

How do you know that they knew about her lifestyle?

You mean which Scripture he adheres to. The Bible calls homosexuality a sin.

Why is it hate when she clearly broke her contract? Whose law should a church follow? Man’s or God’s? I am sorry you hate God and Christians, you are a bigot, but I don’t hate you.

Love thy neighbors is great, I do. I DON’T condone behaviors that are considered sin in the Bible.

My, my such juvenile language. It is possible to be celibate while not being married! I am widowed and choosing to be celibate until marriage. Tried the other way and THIS time choosing to do it the right way. No prudish attitude, just a lot smarter now.

The school upholds Biblical views. That is THEIR right. Leave them alone and respect that they think differently than you. No one is forced to work at a Christian school, there are other schools, bakeries, flower shops, wedding venues, etc. Quit imposing anti-Biblica beliefs on Christians.

Your comments don’t make sense. The church upholds Scripture, makes it clear in the teacher’s contract. Why should she expect to keep her job? SHE is the one who broke the contract.

It is not a question of forgiveness. The Bible is the authority here. It is not scummy to uphold Scripture. I’m sorry she lost her job, but surely she realizes the reality that she broke the terms of her contract.

As soon as the article used a scatalogical term for a person, I no longer took the article serious and quit reading. Grow up and use civility, not immature insults.
