Instead of trying to #unminivan it, they should focus on embracing the van part of the minivan and celebrate it. Vans rule. I don't care what it's called, if it'll haul a bunch of toys and get good gas mileage, I'm listening.

This made me start wondering if anyone built up an x5 for offroading, which soon led me to this:

How many of you just went on Craigslist to find a Mr.2?

You fvcking with me because I'm a teenager? With a little bit of gold and a pager?

This is probably feasible now, using some sort of fancy gyroscopic wizardry...but why?

Rollerblades OF THE FUTURE!

Thanks! I'm not tied to my 16's and only autocross occasionally just for kicks. The problem I find with those sites is there is TOO much discussion. So thanks for the help!

that is really nicely stanced. What rim/wheel dimensions are you going after. I'm not loving my current set up. Wheels don't fill the wheel wells like I would like. RIght now it's 205/40/16. Have any tips?

If you're near Atlanta, I'd trade you for some "daisy" wheels! I reached out to these guys to see if they made a size that would fit a Miata, but the smallest they go is 18": http://detroitsteelwheel.com/

thanks!

No question for you. Just thanks for the Miata!

Love mine:

yeah! those steelies are hot! More info?

I'm still in love with these definitely-not-OEM tiny vans in Japan that we've seen before.

I love my Corona! MIne is also a 78 wagon and has the manual transmission. Got mine in a swap for a 1990 Audi V8 Quattro, had to swap out the gas tank and run a fuel line, but then it started right up! It's pretty peppy and, um, interesting to drive.

I hear ya on the losing battery bit. While it didn't come all the way out and smash radiator fans, it was loose enough to cause mayhem.

I was in the 89 4Runner and gunned it around a corner, because with the 3.4 in there, well, it's fun. But it wasn't fun when the truck shut off and smoke started pouring out of

The Box.

One of the biggest problems with cars are, as you didn't point out, the windows (DLO's) themselves. Sure, it's gotten better. Few of us now have to move our hand in a circular motion while grasping a rotating knob to MANUALLY roll down windows. But we still have the burden of pressing a button. Sometimes we even
